Job summary

Celestica is seeking a highly detail‑oriented QA professional to join our Portland team. You will perform incoming and in‑process inspections, serving as the first line of defense for product quality and ensuring conformity to engineering drawings and specifications.

The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical inspection skills and hands‑on calibration experience, with proficiency in metrology tools and quality software.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail with strong visual and mechanical inspection ability.
• Proficient with standard metrology/inspection equipment.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and shop floor controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and key product characteristics.
• Execute First Article Assessments for new parts and revisions.
• Oversee calibration of precision measuring tools and ensure calibration paperwork is complete.
• Identify, segregate, and process non-conforming materials (DMR) and support RMAs.
• Assist with corrective actions verifications and validations to ensure ongoing quality improvements.
• Support internal, ISO, and customer audits and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
