Job summary

Altor Solutions, Inc. seeks an Inspector Packer to join its Production team in Jackson, TN. You will handle production, inspection and packing of products, reporting to the appropriate supervisor if quality standards are not met.

Adhere to safety, housekeeping, quality, and production guidelines to work efficiently and safely. Responsibilities include removing and packing products, operating tape machines, lifting boxes, and completing quality and packing reports.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing proficiency required.
• Basic math skills needed for measurements and counts.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality packaging.

Responsibilities

• Removes product from conveyor and packs into drying racks, boxes, or bags.
• Packs product into racks, boxes, or bags.
• Operates heavy-duty tape machines to seal and prepare products for storage or delivery.
• Lifts and stacks completed boxes or bags onto pallets or designated areas.
• Follows packing instructions from Quality/Production data sheets.
• Completes production and quality reports as required.
• Performs visual inspections and uses scales/calipers to verify quality and logs discrepancies.
• Maintains inventory of tape, labels, bags, boxes and reports shortages.
