Job summary

Rosco Vision engineers and manufactures visual safety systems for commercial fleet vehicles. This role ensures product conformance within a team and reports to the Quality Manager.

You will use inspection, measuring, and test equipment and electronically report defects via ERP to monitor performance toward the Zero Defects goal. Collaborate with Product Engineering to develop process controls after FMEA and assist in PPAP submissions per AIAG guidelines to OEMs and customers; contribute to

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a Quality department in ISO/IATF environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, datasheets, and certifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with stamping, welding, tube bending, wiring, painting, molding, or final product assembly.
• Hands-on problem solving approach.
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and ERP.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, or final inspections across the production plant.
• Conduct routine audits to ensure inspection records are complete.
• Test mechanical and electronic components for conformance to customer requirements and standards.
• Report nonconformances and inspection results via ERP and monitor performance toward goals.
• Identify discrepancies in Engineering Drawings and report them.
• Analyze and track product returns for defects and potential escapes.
• Assist updating IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 procedures and work instructions.
• Assist/lead PPAP submissions per AIAG guidelines to OEMs and customers.
• Participate in new product development and supplier integration.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering to develop process controls after FMEA.
