Job summary

CEC Companies seeks a Quality Associate – Electrical Assemblies to inspect and verify the quality of prefabricated electrical components for data center projects. You will ensure assemblies meet drawings, specs, NEC, and customer requirements before shipment or field installation.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Electrical Operations, BIM/VDC, Engineering, and QA/QC teams to identify defects, document quality records, and drive improvements in inspection procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in electrical construction, electrical manufacturing, electrical inspection, QA/QC, or related field preferred.
• Electrical field experience as an electrician, foreman, or similar position strongly preferred.
• Experience inspecting prefabricated electrical assemblies or modular electrical systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical assemblies throughout the manufacturing process and prior to shipment to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Verify assemblies are constructed accurately according to approved plans and build documentation.
• Inspect conduit assemblies, supports, racks, electrical equipment, cable tray assemblies, and modular electrical systems.
• Document deficiencies and track corrective actions through completion.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, rework, approvals, and final release of assemblies.
