Job summary

MATTR in the Dallas area is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure incoming materials, in-process and finished products meet engineering specs and customer requirements. You will inspect, test, document, and manage non-conformances, supporting QMS and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include performing inspections, validating COAs, executing ASTM/NDE tests, generating reports, and collaborating with production teams to drive first-pass quality and

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of quality management systems and inspection practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Proficiency with measurement tools and inspection equipment.
• Understand ISO 9001 and API Q1 quality requirements.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections per procedures.
• Review COAs for raw materials and maintain records.
• Conduct testing and generate accurate test reports.
• Create NCRs and support root cause analysis.
• Participate in QMS improvement initiatives.
