Job summary

Mill Creek Machining, a Delva Tool & Machine location, is seeking a Quality Inspector I, II, or III to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections while upholding top-quality standards across production. You will read blueprints and interpret specs, document findings, and help drive nonconformity resolution.

The role may involve entry to senior levels, with emphasis on precision measuring and adherence to quality processes.

Qualifications

Experience levels vary from entry to senior inspector positions.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret inspection requirements.
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments is expected.
Fundamental understanding of manufacturing quality principles.
Knowledge of AS9100, GD&T, CMMs, and FAI documentation is a plus for higher roles.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
Identify and process nonconforming material.
Verify certifications, traceability documentation, and traveler accuracy.
Support AS9100 quality system requirements and documentation.
Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions.
