Job summary

AllTek Staffing & Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on machined components. The position features a 4x10-hour schedule (Mon–Thu 5:00 AM–3:30 PM) with overtime on Fridays.

Pay is up to $25.00/hour, based on experience, plus an annual bonus that has exceeded $6,000. You will read blueprints, use precision measuring tools, document inspection results, and work with machining teams to resolve quality issues in a safety-focused

Qualifications

• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, profilometers, and other inspection tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Verify parts meet dimensional and quality requirements.
• Complete inspection reports and quality documentation accurately.
• Identify and document non-conforming materials.
• Work closely with machining and production teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area.

Quality Inspector

Schedule & Pay: Monday – Thursday 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (4 x 10-hour schedule). Overtime available on Fridays, usually half day may be required when busy.

Pay: Up to $25.00/hour, based on experience.

Annual Bonus

Once hired directly by the company, production employees are eligible for an annual performance bonus that has exceeded $6,000 per year.

What You’ll Do

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on machined components
• Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, profilometers, and other inspection tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Verify parts meet dimensional and quality requirements
• Complete inspection reports and quality documentation accurately
• Identify and document non-conforming materials
• Work closely with machining and production teams to resolve quality concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection or machine shop experience, or equivalent technical training
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and drawings
• Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometers
• Experience using a Faro Arm is preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with inspection documentation and quality procedures
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); ERP experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Lift up to 40 pounds as needed
• Work in a manufacturing environment while following all safety procedures
