Job summary

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED is required.
• An Associate’s Degree in Applied Sciences or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations and best practices.
• Assist with performing inspections of parts throughout various processes as needed.
• Calibrate and update all inspection tools including rulers, calipers, gages
• Completion of all documentation for FAI’s and PPAPs
• Investigate all CARs from customer regarding part/product rejection
• Oversee quarantined materials and dispositions of non-conforming product
• Use computer systems to adjust/move inventories for scrap/non-conforming materials
• Verify/investigate CPARs and provide feedback/verification
• Investigate supplier quality issues with incoming materials and coordinate with purchasing/customer for credits

Job Details: Job Location: Colorado - Northglenn, CO 80233, Salary Range: $20.00 - $26.00 Hourly, Duties/Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities

• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations and best practices
• Assist with performing inspections of parts throughout various processes as needed
• Calibrate and update all inspection tools including rulers, calipers, gages
• Completion of all documentation for FAI’s and PPAPs
• Responsible for investigating all CARs from customer regarding part/product rejection
• Responsible for overseeing quarantined materials and dispositions of non-conforming product
• Utilize applicable computer systems to adjust/move inventories to adjust for scrap/non-conforming materials
• Verify/investigate submitted CPARs and provide feedback/verification of each
• Responsible for investigating supplier quality issues with incoming materials, including follow-up with purchasing/customer to receive proper credits

Qualifications: Education and Experience

• High school Diploma or GED required

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications required
• Detailed oriented and strong written and verbal communications skills required
• Must be able to read blueprints and be proficient in the usage of Comparators, Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gages, etc.
• ASQ Certification a plus but not required

Position Type

Hourly, Non Exempt. At Will employee.

Work Environment/Dynamics

Manufacturing/Office environment. Employee must be able to adapt to frequent changes in procedures and methods as company grows.

Physical Demands

• Light to moderate physical effort required on a constant basis
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
• Required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility for an entire shift

Personal Protective Equipment

Eye protection, hearing protection, safety shoes, and face masks are available and required in certain areas

Work Schedule

• Normal schedule – 40 hours/week; Monday through Thursday (10-hour shifts)
• Overtime scheduled as needed and may be mandatory Friday and Saturday

Work Environment

• Work performed in a plant/production environment
• Contains any number of elements including but not limited to fiberglass/insulation material, dust, fumes, and noise.
• Must be able to work as part of a team or independently with limited supervision
