Novolex is seeking a Quality Inspector in North Vernon, IN to oversee quality systems and ensure products meet cost, safety, and quality standards.

You will report to the Quality Manager / SQF Practitioner and drive adherence to quality policies while supporting continuous improvement across the line. The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in quality, with proficiency in Word/Excel and basic SPC knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in quality and safety.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Experience with manufacturing-based technology preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• General office skills.

Responsabilités

• Implement and maintain the quality policy to meet standards and goals.
• Promote continuous improvement of quality.
• Maintain documentation and production approvals in quality.
• Advise supervisors and techs on quality issues and product quality.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and procedures to standard.
• Cross-train within the department to ensure coverage during absences.
