Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to perform inspections and tests to ensure product quality and compliance with GMP standards. The role involves collecting samples, recording data, and communicating findings to internal teams.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong math and data analysis skills, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, in a manufacturing setting. Forklift certification is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some post-secondary education preferred.
• Interpersonal: Strong written and verbal communication; ability to read and interpret reports, emails, memos.
• Technical: Strong mathematical ability; capable of calculations (averages, sums, spec limits); learn MS Office, RealSPC, SAP.
• Other: Independent judgment under production pressure; flexible for 12-hour shifts, weekends, schedule changes.
• Physical: Stand/walk up to 11 hours, lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull 900 lbs. with hydraulic jack.
• Licenses: Forklift license must be possessed or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test products to ensure quality.
• Identify and report actual or potential quality issues and trends.
• Place suspect products on hold and notify QA Manager and Shift Supervisor.
• Enter data into SPC software and analyze trends.
• Maintain GMP compliance and safety practices.
