MCM Staffing LLC is seeking a Quality Inspector for our Mount Clemens area position. The role splits time between CMM inspection and manual inspection using precision tools. Training is available if you know one method but want to learn the other.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quality Inspector in a CNC manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating Zeiss CMM with Calypso preferred; other CMM experience accepted.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections on precision CNC machined parts using a CMM.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and similar tools.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Select proper measuring equipment based on part features and tolerances.
• Verify conformance to customer and engineering specs.
• Document inspection results and identify nonconforming products.
• Collaborate with machinists to uphold quality standards.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
