Job summary

Monogram Aerospace Fasteners is seeking an entry-level Inspector C for the 2nd shift in Commerce, CA. This on-site role trains personnel to perform and record inspections and tests to verify parts meet documented requirements, with a 1:00pm–9:30pm schedule.

The position emphasizes accurate recordkeeping and traceability in a manufacturing laboratory environment. Responsibilities include understanding drawings, performing inspections, preparing records, and maintaining test consumables.

Qualifications

• Understand quality requirements in engineering drawings and specifications.
• Able to read and write English at shop/documentation level.
• Operate laboratory equipment and instruments required for tests.

Responsibilities

• Understand the quality requirements in engineering drawings and specifications.
• Prepare forms for incoming work and record results of inspections.
• Perform inspections and tests according to documented requirements.
• Accept or reject parts and materials and document decisions.
• Maintain adequate quantities of consumables for inspections and tests.
• Carry out dimensional inspection of tools, materials, components and assemblies.
• Conduct adhesion testing and lab tests (alloy verification, hardness testing, plating thickness).
• Perform micro-preparations.
