Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of applicable position experience or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience using Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Experience utilizing basic measuring tools such as measuring tapes and check gauges.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every area is producing parts that meet the designed intent and customer expectations; verify standard work and report nonconformance.
• Write reports and gather data, communicate customer expectations, and confirm all functional testing is completed and documented per procedures.
• Verify operational stability of new products during startup and report performance to engineering and top management.
• Navigate systems (MDS, QMS, JDE) and interpret assembly, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic prints; use inspection hand tools to verify compliance.
• Assess paint quality using the ABC method and basic paint inspection tools; verify paint finish and thickness.
• Inspect welds using gauges, penetrants, and magnetic particles; ensure tool calibration and compliance with QMS.
• Partner with Supervisor and production to provide quality service and communicate updates; perform basic root cause analysis on defects.
