Job summary

PPG Quality in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Quality Inspector for automotive manufacturing. This role covers 1st and 2nd shifts, and requires hands-on inspection, sorting, and data capture in a fast-paced environment.

As part of the team you will work from 6:00am–6:00pm or 6:00pm–6:00am, with Monday–Friday schedule and weekends as needed. No prior experience required; comprehensive training is provided and growth opportunities are highlighted.

Responsibilities

• Perform sorting, inspection, and basic production tasks.
• Accurately enter data and maintain records.

• Operate inspection tools, measurement devices, and test equipment – training available.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Quality Inspectorsare responsible for a wide range of hands-on duties including sorting, inspection and data capture. They work directly with customers to resolve and prevent quality issues, reinforcingPPG QUALITY’S commitment to superior solutions. Work environments vary from yard sorts, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, etc. – whatever the customer needs. Inspectors must be flexible with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail. The success of our organization depends on the dedication of our team members.
