Job summary

Nemera is seeking a Quality Inspector to assist the Quality Lead and Operations Quality Manager in coordinating quality objectives across the company. You will interpret drawings, analyze test data, collect samples, and verify conformance to standards throughout 12-hour rotating shifts.

The role requires at least 1 year in quality, ability to use gauges and CMM, and lifting up to 30 lbs while standing most of the shift.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience within the quality profession.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Ability to use gauges, inspection fixtures, and leak testing equipment.
  • Ability to use software productivity tools such as Statistical Process Control.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to stand 75% of the shift.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Quality Lead and Operational Quality Manager to coordinate objectives for product quality and efficiency.
  • Read and interpret drawings, data, manuals to determine inspection procedures and methods.
  • Analyze test data and compute results to determine pass/fail.
  • Collect samples for testing and models as needed.
  • Verify conformance by comparing colors, shapes, textures, or grades to standards.
  • Document nonconformances and deviation reports; initiate corrective actions.

Job Description
  • Assists the Quality Lead and Operational Quality Manager in coordinating and executing objectives throughout the company in cooperation with other employees, to maximize product quality and operating system efficiency/effectiveness to minimize costs.
  • Support and comply with all policies of the company including but not limited to cGMP, ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements and Continuous Improvement as well as standard work procedures.
  • Read and interpret part drawings, data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and setting procedures, adjustment and certification methods, formulas and measuring instruments required.
  • Analyze test data and make computations as necessary to determine test results.
  • Collect or select samples for testing or for use as models.
  • Compare colors, shapes, textures, or grades of products or materials with color charts, templates, or samples to verify conformance to standards.
  • Perform lot documentation review and approval to ensure compliance to procedures and good documentation practices.
  • Reject products and materials, not meeting specifications.
  • Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actions.
  • Inspect test, or measure materials, products, and work for conformance to specifications.
  • Mark items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status.
  • Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, micrometers, force gages, CMM and optical gaging machines.
  • Write nonconformance, rework instruction and deviation reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

PAY RANGE: $20.00 USD - $30.00 USD Hourly plus 10% Night Shift Differential (This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.)

SHIFT SCHEDULE: 12-Hour, Rotating Shifts (2-2-3 Rotating Schedule, requiring work every other weekend) from 6:00 PM to 6:15 AM
