Job summary

Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited in Rockaway, New Jersey, United States is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components and assemblies. You will read drawings, operate inspection tools, and document findings on quality records.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing, reads blueprints, uses calipers, micrometers, and thread gauges, and collaborates with production and engineering

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and thread gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components and assemblies.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Utilize measuring and inspection equipment including calipers, thread gauges, and related precision tools.
• Operate FaroArm CMM equipment and PolyWorks software for dimensional inspections.
• Document inspection findings and maintain accurate quality records.
• Support calibration activities and maintain calibration records for inspection equipment.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials and products.
• Enter inspection data into Excel and other quality tracking systems.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
