A Quality Inspector Aerospace opportunity is available in Valencia, CA for a detail-oriented inspection professional with experience supporting aerospace and defense manufacturing. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final inspections according to priorities established in the manufacturing and production plan.
• Verify product quality and manufacturing accuracy using proper inspection tools, measuring equipment, and approved procedures.
• Read and interpret customer blueprints, drawings, specifications, and standards to confirm product conformance.
• Perform open setups for first piece inspections, validations, and First Article Inspections to AS9102 standards.
• Maintain accurate quality records, inspection documentation, reports, and product files.
• Support non-conforming product procedures, source inspections, audits, and related quality activities.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $65,000 to $70,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Conduct in-process, first piece, final, and First Article Inspections in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Review blueprints, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to verify product conformity.
• Use inspection equipment and measuring tools to validate product quality and manufacturing accuracy.
• Support quality documentation, non-conforming product processes, audits, and inspection records.
• 2+ years of quality inspection experience preferred, ideally in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret customer blueprints, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Experience with First Article Inspection processes and documentation, including AS9102 standards.
• Knowledge of quality equipment, inspection tools, and calibration processes.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage changing inspection priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an AS9100 or aerospace quality management environment.
• Familiarity with source inspections, audits, and non-conforming material procedures.
• Experience supporting production teams in a precision manufacturing or machining environment.
