### Description

The Quality Inspector supports a fast-paced ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO13485 manufacturing operation, providing basic in-process inspection support, production line clearances, and finished product review and release. This role ensures products meet customer requirements by conducting visual and measurement tests under the guidance of senior inspectors.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Approve in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor or their designee.
  2. Evaluate product against standards using basic measuring tools and equipment.
  3. Approve parts by inspecting finished or in-process products and confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work and determining acceptance or rejection.
  4. Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work, and scrap.
  5. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
  6. Contribute to the quality and organizational mission by completing related tasks as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Attention to Detail - being attentive to detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
  • Dependability - being reliable, responsible, and dependable.
  • Basic knowledge of measuring devices (scales, micrometers, calipers, etc.).
  • Ability to follow instructions, prescribed routines, methods, and/or practices.
  • Good mathematical skills — understanding basic algebra and able to calculate.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to walk/stand for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Noise level is usually moderate to loud.

Shift Hours

  • 3rd Shift: Sunday through Thursday 10:30PM to 7AM
  • Hourly Wage: $22.33 to $26.00 DOE + $1.50/hour Shift Differential
