Job summary

Standex International is seeking a Manufacturing Inspector on 2nd shift in New Berlin, WI. You will inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure conformance to specifications and customer requirements.

You will operate common inspection tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, depth gauges, dial indicators, and height gauges, applying GD&T concepts. Maintain logs and support SQDC improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year related experience in inspection or QA.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure conformance to specifications and customer requirements.
• Use inspection tools to document results and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain production and quality logs and participate in audits as needed.
• Assist with housekeeping, safety, and SQDC objectives on the shop floor.
