Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division seeks a Quality Inspector (Avery Creek) for 2nd shift to support manufacturing operations in North Carolina.

Responsibilities include final and in-process inspections, containment actions for quality issues, data collection and reporting, and collaboration with Quality Engineering to drive corrective actions and improve yield and conformance to ISO 9001. The role requires lifting up to 30 pounds, safety compliance, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-year Associate’s degree OR High School diploma with 1 year of manufacturing experience
• 1 year Quality Inspection experience
• No relocation benefit; within 50-mile radius of Avery Creek, NC

Responsibilities

• Perform final and in-process inspections across multiple product lines to ensure quality conformance.
• Execute containment actions for quality issues, including inspection of suspect product and validation of responsible processes.
• Support Quality Engineering to drive corrective and preventive actions and improve CONC, Warranty PPM, Final Yield, and related metrics.
• Assist in resolution of NCMRs and problem-solving as needed.
• Collect and input quality data into databases and software (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, TDM, CQM, MQ1) for reporting and analysis.
• Monitor and enforce ISO 9001 quality procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with front-end engineering to resolve defects and product-spec issues.
