Job summary

AKG North America in Mitchell, SD is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure manufactured items meet print and customer specs. The role involves first article inspections, process audits, data collection, and reporting nonconformances across welding, machining, and core areas.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year in manufacturing and prefer quality experience; must be able to work the 2PM–10PM shift, Monday through Friday. Physical requirements include standing and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Physical Demands

We're looking for someone who:
Must be able to stand (80%) of the time. May also be required to bend, stoop, pull, push, twist and turn.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (5%) of the time.
Must be able to use a pallet jack and chain hoist.
Must use safety equipment such as steel toe shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection. Safety glasses and hearing protection will be provided.
