Job summary

AKG of America, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure manufactured products meet all print and customer specifications. The role supports production quality through first article inspections, process audits, data collection, and reporting nonconformances.

Ideal candidate has one year of manufacturing experience, preferably in Quality, and must be available for the 6AM–2PM shift. This is a full-time, first-shift position in Mitchell, SD.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working in a manufacturing setting; prior experience working in Quality preferred.
• Must be available and able to work the agreed upon shift.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify that items manufactured meet all print and customer specifications.
• Perform 1st article inspections for work orders in welding, machining, and core area.
• Fill out Inspection Reports, documenting that the components or coolers meet print.
• Perform process audits in several manufacturing areas, and measure items to verify part conformity.
• Fill out nonconformance reports for defects found in manufacturing.
• Gather and organize production data, and analyze to report key quality and process metrics performance.
• Report any issues to supervisor, or appropriate personnel or manufacturing areas as needed.
• Regular physical attendance is a requirement for this position. Refer to AKG attendance policy in the Employee Handbook.

Lo Que Hará

• Inspeccione y verifique que los artículos fabricados cumplan con todas las especificaciones del plano y del cliente.
• Realice inspecciones de primera pieza para órdenes de trabajo en áreas de soldadura, maquinado y núcleo.
• Llene reportes de inspección, documentando que los componentes o enfriadores cumplen con el plano.
