Job summary

Latitude Corp. is seeking a Quality Inspector 1 for the 2nd shift in Manning, SC. Join a 100% employee-owned team focused on precision metal manufacturing and high-quality outcomes.

You will inspect parts, document results, and support production with accurate quality checks in a climate-controlled facility. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and strong attention to detail, basic math and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to visually inspect parts with high attention to detail.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and ensure hazardous conditions are eliminated. Follow company safety procedures.
• Ensure the highest quality standards are met with all work done.
• Understand Quality / Safety Policy and Objectives.
• Ensure output meets required deadlines while executing above.
• Act as a liaison between Quality and Production departments. Ensure cross departmental communication is accurate and effective.
• Final inspection and packaging of parts prior to delivery to customer.
• Complete daily checklists on designated equipment and maintain records.
• Accurately maintain MES system as instructed.
• Arrive to work in a punctual manner and be willing to work overtime when needed.
• Assist in monthly inventory process.
• Maintain neat and clean work area.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
