Job summary

Latitude Corp. is seeking a Quality Inspector 1 to join our 100% employee-owned team on 1st shift. You will perform final inspections and support production with a focus on safety and quality in our climate-controlled facility.

In this role you’ll inspect parts, document findings, maintain MES records, and collaborate with Quality and Production to meet deadlines. We value attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must visually inspect parts with high attention to detail.
• Good basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and follow company safety procedures.
• Ensure the highest quality standards are met with all work done.
• Understand Quality / Safety Policy and Objectives.
• Ensure output meets required deadlines while executing above.
• Act as a liaison between Quality and Production departments. Ensure cross departmental communication is accurate and effective.
• Final inspection and packaging of parts prior to delivery to customer.
• Complete daily checklists on designated equipment and maintain records.
• Accurately maintain MES system as instructed.
• Arrive to work in a punctual manner and be willing to work overtime when needed.
• Assist in monthly inventory process.
• Maintain neat and clean work area.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

1st Shift: Monday - Friday (6am - 2:30pm)

• Physical- Capable of lifting 40 lbs. safely or with assistance. Capability of standing and bending over for long periods of time while performing manual labor with or without reasonable accommodations.
