Job summary

Eaton in El Paso, TX, is seeking a Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift to perform dimensional inspections, interpret drawings, and generate inspection reports. This on-site role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with metrology equipment.

You'll calibrate CMM styli, support CPk analyses and PPAP submissions, and assist with process improvements while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with technical writing.
• A minimum of 3 years manufacturing, production, or military experience OR a degree in a technical discipline.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or CPT/OPT for this position.
• No relocation benefit; candidates must reside within 50 miles of El Paso, TX.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings to perform dimensional inspections and document results.
• Execute inspection routines on automated measurement systems and verify results.
• Generate reports for CPk analysis and assist Quality Engineers.
• Calculate Gage R&R results for metrology instruments.
• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) dimensional measurements on CMM.
• Support process improvement and metrology-related projects.
• Assist with PPAP submissions and calibration of CMM styli.
