TrinityRail Maintenance Services is hiring a 2nd shift Quality Inspector in Shell Rock, Iowa!

The Career Quality Inspector position is an excellent opportunity for a resilient, team-oriented individual who embraces challenges. As part of the TrinityRail team, you will conduct visual and measured inspections/tests of materials and products to ensure they meet standards and requirements. You will also complete inspection records and reports, adhering to all relevant codes and regulations.

Responsibilities include:

• Proficient use of inspection tools and measuring equipment
• Applying quality science and tools
• Performing as a Welding Inspector Specialist (WIS) level II or Quality Inspection Specialist (QIS) level II, or achieving certification within 6 months
• Working under the supervision of a Level 2 certified inspector
• Following all safety protocols
• Participating in training and certification processes
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience with quality procedures
• Knowledge of rail cars
• Understanding of job responsibilities, policies, and processes
• Basic technical understanding
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• 1-2 years of related experience
