Job summary

AREA TEMPS, INC. is seeking a Quality Inspector in Akron, Ohio. As a Quality Inspector, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of parts inspection and ensuring compliance with company quality functions. This role requires reading blueprints, operating inspection tools like Faro Arm and CMM, and knowledge of ISO and AS9100 standards. Work hours are Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail and experience with various inspection methods.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of machining symbols for finishing parts.
• Ability to operate various inspection tools effectively.
• Understanding of ISO and AS9100 requirements.

Alarge manufacturing companyhas openings for Quality Inspectors to help establish the quality functions to be followed by the employees. Work hours are Monday through Friday from7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Job Duties

• Watch over all aspects of parts incoming, in-process, and final inspection and represent the company in all quality matters
• Read blueprints and have a working knowledge of the machining symbols associated with the finishes and dimension that pertain to finishing machined parts
• Decide what pieces of inspection equipment they need and be able to use the available tooling to inspect the machined part to the respective blueprint
• Workwith Faro Arm and CMMknowledge of ISOand AS9100 Requirements
• Operate the cranes to load the parts on to the set up to achieve final inspection on the finished part
• Use calipers, micrometers, gage blocks, and any other available inspection equipment to inspect and record work for later review
• Keep area clean and clutter free for safety
• Perform other duties as assigned
