Job summary

TASE Global (Trusted Aerospace and Engineering) is seeking a Quality Inspector 2 to support production with advanced mechanical inspections, collaborate with customers on corrective actions, and contribute to process improvement. The role emphasizes accurate documentation and strong quality leadership within the Quality Department.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in quality, 2+ years in aerospace quality systems, and proficiency with GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and precision measurement

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in a quality role.
  • 2+ years experience with aerospace quality systems.
  • 2+ years experience with precision measuring equipment.
  • 2+ years experience with GD&T symbology, tolerancing and blueprint interpretation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform critical inspection operations for first article, in process, final, and receiving.
  • Lead and assist other quality personnel in day-to-day operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Coordinate with customers through electronic portals on corrective actions and delivery issues.
  • Assist source inspectors when present and support internal/external audits.
  • Perform calibration duties as needed and contribute to continuous improvement.

Position Summary: The Quality Inspector 2 position is responsible for supporting production activities with advanced mechanical inspections, working with customers on corrective actions and other quality items, participating in process improvement projects and ensuring documentation and records are correct. This position is a key role in the functioning of the Quality Department and will be heavily relied on for the daily operational functions.

Education and Experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience working in a quality role.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working directly with Aerospace quality systems.
  • Minimum 2 years experience and demonstratable skill using precision measuring equipment.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with advanced GD&T symbology, tolerancing and blueprint interpretation. Strong skills are a must.
Core Contributing Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities to the Organization
  • Perform critical inspection operations for first article, in process, final, and receiving operations.
  • Help other Quality personnel with day-to-day operations as a leader.
  • Work directly with engineering and production personnel to ensure quality requirements are being met.
