Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Quality Inspector at its Prince George, VA facility to ensure products meet quality standards during manufacturing. You will inspect mechanical and electrical assemblies, verify against specifications, document nonconformances, and support production for safe, high-quality outputs.

This role requires at least 1 year of experience in quality inspection, strong attention to detail, and ability to read drawings.

Job Summary

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring products meet established quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This role performs inspections of mechanical and electrical assemblies, verifies compliance with specifications and work instructions, and supports production teams in delivering safe, high-quality products. The inspector identifies and documents nonconformances while ensuring components such as valves, fittings, hoses, tubing, wiring, and electrical connections are assembled according to engineering and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Manufacturing, assembly, production, or quality experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and experience using manufacturing systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and workmanship issues.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
