Job summary

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for two Quality Inspectors in Corinth, MS. This is a first shift position with core hours 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM and a pay rate of $18.50 per hour.

The role involves performing quality inspections and audits on incoming material, ensuring products meet specifications, and communicating results to supervisors. Ideal candidates will have 1+ year in a quality-related position, HS diploma or equivalent, and the ability to use basic hand tools.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as impartial third party to ensure product meets criteria.
• Perform quality inspections/audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual inspection.
• Rectify non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader.
• Use hand tools and processes (gaging, drills, taps, grinders, sanders) to repair/clean parts.
• Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source.

Quality Inspector Responsibilities

(To include but not limited to the following)

Client Relationship & Business Development

• The Quality Inspector acts as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria.

Operations

• The Quality Inspector performs quality inspection / quality audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use.
• Contains non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies.
• Rectifies non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader.
• Uses methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material.
• Determines the tools and equipment needed to do the job.
• Grinds, sands, cleans and oils parts and/or sub-assemblies by using hand tools or equipment.

Organization & Management

• Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source.

Technical

• MUST be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies.
• Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.
