Job summary

Safran Group in Washington state is seeking a Quality Inspector 1 - SCI to inspect, audit and report on materials, processes and products used in aircraft interiors, ensuring conformance with quality standards. This role is based in Everett/Marysville and reports to the Quality Inspection Supervisor or QA Manager.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 0–3 years of experience, and proficiency with Windows; the candidate must read engineering drawings and use precision inspection

• Inspection of incoming products to ensure proper paperwork is received and parts conform to specifications, engineering and purchase order.
• In-process inspection of parts being manufactured.
• Inspects sub-assemblies used in the construction of aircraft interiors and all final products prior to shipment.

Job description

Inspects, audits and reports on materials, processes and products used in the construction of aircraft interiors using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the company's quality standards. This job reports to the Quality Inspection Supervisor or Quality Assurance Manager.
