Job summary

A leading manufacturer of aircraft interiors in Marysville, WA is seeking a Quality Inspector 1 for the 1st shift. In this role, you will inspect and audit materials and processes to ensure quality standards are met. Responsibilities include conducting inspections of incoming products, performing in-process checks, interpreting engineering drawings, and collaborating with engineering teams. Candidates should have 2+ years of relevant experience and proficiency in English, along with basic math skills. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant work history preferred, manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming products for compliance with specifications.
• Perform in-process inspection of manufacturing parts.
• Interprets engineering drawings and specifications.
• Reject and control non-conforming products.
• Verify correct performance of rework processes.
• Conduct mechanical/physical tests using lab equipment.
• Collaborate with Engineers and Supervisors to maintain calibration.
• Perform process audits as needed.
• Participate in operational improvement activities.
• Remain flexible and open to other tasks as necessary.

Safran Cabin Materials, LLC located in Marysville, WA is recruiting for:

Quality Inspector 1 - 1st Shift

Shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday
Pay: $21.00/hr

Job Overview

Inspects, audits and reports on materials, processes and products used in the construction of aircraft interiors using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the company’s quality standards. This job reports to the Quality Inspection Supervisor and/or Quality Assurance Manager.

Job Duties

• Inspection of incoming products to ensure proper paperwork is received and parts conform to specifications, engineering and purchase order.
• In-process inspection of parts being manufactured.
• Interprets and reads engineering drawings, company and customer specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing.
• Reject and control non-conforming product.
• Verify rework is correctly performed per instructions.
• Perform Mechanical/Physical tests with lab equipment.
• Work with Engineers, Supervisors and Production personnel to ensure measuring and testing equipment is within calibration.
• Perform process audits as needed.
• Active participation in operational improvement activities.
• Other task as needed and flexibility is key.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications
