Job summary

TASE Global (Trusted Aerospace and Engineering) is hiring a Quality Inspector 1 in Phoenix, AZ to support production with mechanical inspections, documentation, and calibration activities within the Quality Department. The role includes reading drawings, applying GD&T, and performing dimensional checks using standard inspection tools.

The ideal candidate will have familiarity with shop drawings, metrology concepts, and the ability to document inspection results in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Able to read typical shop drawings and blueprints to identify key characteristics and features.
• Familiar with GD&T symbols and metrology concepts.
• Adequate mathematics skills for basic geometry applications.
• Able to work with measurements in Metric and SAE/Imperial units.
• Familiar with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office for inspection reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection steps on routers involving inspection, verification, and documentation of dimensional conformance.
• Perform receiving inspection to verify conformity of raw materials to purchase orders or customer requirements.
• Complete inspection documentation paperwork.
• Prepare pre-shipment conformance documents and provide shipping with required paperwork.

Position Summary:The Quality Inspector 1 supports production by performing mechanical inspections, documentation and calibration activities within the Quality Department.

Education and Experience

• Able to read typical shop drawings and blueprints to identify key characteristics and features.
• Familiar with GD&T symbols, the concept of Metrology,
• Adequate mathematics skills for the application of basic geometry concepts.
• Able to work with measurements in both Metric and SAE/Imperial.
• Familiar with measuring tools such as Calipers, Micrometers, Pin Gauges and other typical inspection and measuring equipment.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office products for use to create and document inspection reports.
