Job summary

Creation Technologies in Milwaukee is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform product visual inspection and measurements, ensuring conformance to specifications and recording inspection data.

You will participate in issue resolution, follow action plans for non-conformances, and escalate recurring defects through the Stop Call Wait process; GMP knowledge and IPC A-610 experience are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of electronics manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs product visual inspection and measurements by assessing conformance to specifications.
• Records inspection data and rejects nonconforming materials.
• Participates in issue resolution.
• Follows action plans when a non-conformance is detected.
• Utilizes Stop Call Wait and Escalate processes for recurring defects.
• Participates in Tier meetings as needed.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The Quality Inspector performs product visual inspection and measurements to independently determine and promote conformance with quality standards, records inspection data and rejects nonconforming materials.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently performs product visual inspection and measurements by assessing compliance to specifications, records inspection data and rejects nonconforming materials.
• Participate in issue resolution.
• Follow action plans when a non-conformance is detected.
• Utilize Stop Call Wait and Escalate process for reoccurring defects to supervisors
• Participate in Tier meetings as needed
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-year working experience in electronics manufacturing

Skills Required:

• Basic computer skills
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)/Operations knowledge
• Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) or equivalent experience.
• IPC A-610 (inspection acceptance) or applicable standard (e.g. IPC-A600)
• Proficient English verbal communication with Operators and Quality team

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and identification, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
