Job summary

Creation Technologies is seeking a Quality Inspector in Milwaukee to perform product visual inspection and measurements, record data, and independently determine conformance with quality standards, while assisting in rejecting nonconforming materials. You will participate in issue resolution, follow action plans for non-conformances, and escalate recurring defects.

A HS diploma and at least 1 year in electronics manufacturing are required, with basic computer skills, GMP knowledge, IPC A-610

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-year working experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with GMP/operations and IPC standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs product visual inspection and measurements to assess compliance to specifications and records inspection data.
• Rejects nonconforming materials and participates in issue resolution.
• Follows action plans when a non-conformance is detected.
• Utilizes Stop Call Wait and Escalate processes for recurring defects.
• Participates in Tier meetings as needed.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently performs product visual inspection and measurements by assessing compliance to specifications, records inspection data and rejects nonconforming materials.
• Participate in issue resolution.
• Follow action plans when a non-conformance is detected.
• Utilize Stop Call Wait and Escalate process for reoccurring defects to supervisors
• Participate in Tier meetings as needed
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-year working experience in electronics manufacturing

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Basic computer skills
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)/Operations knowledge
• Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) or equivalent experience.
• IPC A-610 (inspection acceptance) or applicable standard (e.g. IPC-A600)
• Proficient English verbal communication with Operators and Quality team
