Quality Inspector

This position performs various quality control inspections, checks, and tests of products during the manufacturing process and ensures compliance with company standards at different stages of production.

Job Summary

• Examines material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and incomplete welds.
• Compares product with parts list or sample model to ensure completion of assembly.
• Verifies specified dimensions of product or material.
• Rejects defective parts and marks the type of defect on the part, container of parts, or inspection tag.
• Performs functional tests to verify final assembly conformity to product specifications.
• Conducts basic visual inspections and measurements using hand tools, gage blocks, and height gauges.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience measuring parts with hand tools, gage blocks, and height gauges.

Required Experience and Education

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
