Location: Warren, MI 48089

Position Type: Full Time

Shift: Days 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Job Summary:

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality of parts from initial inspection through to final shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform First Piece Inspection (dimensional and visual layout)
2. Conduct hourly inspections to ensure each press is checked regularly
3. Perform final hopper inspections, checking for dirt and foreign parts
4. Carry out final job inspections and verify information on hopper tags at the start and end of each run
5. Assist production teams with problem-solving
6. Report any non-conformances to the Quality Manager or Supervisor
7. File paperwork, including inspection sheets, certifications, and related documents
8. Follow all safety standards and company policies

Job Requirements:

1. Must be at least 18 years old
2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
3. Ability to work well in a team environment
4. Basic understanding of shop math
5. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a physical exam
