Job summary

Sweep North America, Inc. in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is seeking a Quality Inspector 2 to join our manufacturing team. You will perform in-process and final product quality analyses, interpret results against specifications, and identify issues with guidance under moderate supervision.

Responsible for in-process and final product quality analyses/inspection in compliance with standards and regulatory requirements. Interprets and evaluates the analyses in terms of accuracy and precision compared against established specifications. Identifies on-going quality issues, prevents potential production issues, and makes suggestions for improvement. Uses various measuring devices, testing equipment, predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to accept or reject products. May work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.

A Support 2 requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Responsibilities typically include: Works under moderate supervision. Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.
