Job summary

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Quality Inspectors in Sterling, Massachusetts. The role involves performing start-up and in-process inspections, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, and maintaining inspection records. The position operates on a rotating 7pm–7am schedule (4 days one week, 3 days the next).

The pay range is $17–$18 per hour. candidates should have visual inspection experience and be proficient with measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and pin gauges.

Responsibilities

• Performs start-up inspections, in-process inspections and inspects to an AQL.
• Verify that in-process inspection is being performed and conduct quality inspections in packaging, print room and molding room floor.
• Maintain accurate inspection and testing records and complete required documentation.
• Use micrometers, vernier’s, and pin gauges; operate a comparator and other testing equipment as assigned.
• Follow testing requirements per company procedures.
• Collect inspection data and notify Production Team Leader of discrepancies for corrective action.
• Stamp approval or rejection on product and write Non-conformance reports for suspect material.
• Communicate requirements to fellow inspectors to maintain shift consistency.
• All other duties as assigned.

7pm-7am rotating schedule 4 days one week 3 days next week
$17-$18

Responsibilities:

• Performs start-up inspections, in-process inspections and inspects to an AQL. Assist in coordination of non-conforming product investigations and corrective actions.
• Verify that in-process inspection is being performed. Conduct quality inspections in packaging department, print room and on molding room floor.
• Verify that manufacturing and quality related records are being maintained accurately including inspection records and testing records. Complete required documentation.
• Must have competence and manual dexterity to use micrometers, vernier’s, and pin gauges. Required to use a comparator and other testing equipment as assigned.
• Follow and perform testing requirements per written company procedures.
• Collect inspection data and notify Production Team Leader of any discrepancies for the purpose of taking corrective action.
• Stamps mark of approval or rejection on product and writes Non-conformance report of examinations for suspect material
• Communicate requirements to fellow inspectors to maintain consistency for all shifts
• All other duties as assigned.
