Job summary

A leading design and manufacturing company in Shrewsbury is seeking a Lead Inspector to manage precision inspection processes. Candidates must have over 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, strong knowledge of GD&T, and the ability to read blueprints and models. Qualifications

• 3+ years managing precision inspection in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T.
• Ability to read blueprints, 2D and 3D models.
• SolidWorks knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with comparator and Micro-Vu is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the precision inspection process on components to ensure conformance with drawings and specs.
• Review engineering drawings and tolerances to identify potential issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Mentor and support junior inspectors to ensure consistent inspection practices.
