SoloPoint Solutions, Inc. is seeking a quality inspector to perform First Article Inspections and lead the metrology lab calibration program. You will develop inspection work instructions and support incoming, in-process, and final inspections.

You will participate in engineering drawing reviews and audits, and collaborate with suppliers to resolve part-related issues. The role requires an AA degree or 5 years in manufacturing quality, ASQ certifications, and strong metrology skills including

• AA degree or at least 5 years of manufacturing quality experience.
• ASQ CQT, CQI or CQA certification; metrology, CMM, and SPC knowledge.
• Ability to interpret BOMs and engineering specifications.
• Experience with hand and advanced inspection instruments.
• Plastic part inspection experience is a plus.
• Design and execute inspection and test setups.

Responsabilidades

Qualifications

• AA degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
• ASQ, Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or CQA Must have experience using metrology equipment, CMM (coordinate measurement machines) Proficiency in conducting First Article Inspection and applying Strong Statistical Process Controls (SPC).
• Competency in interpreting bills of materials (BOMs) and intricate engineering specifications.
• Demonstrated experience with both hand and advanced inspection instruments.
• Previous experience in inspecting plastic parts is a plus.
• Expertise in devising and executing inspection and test set-ups.

• Conduct functional testing on products to determine root causes of issues.
• Establish communication with suppliers to address and resolve problems and concerns.
• Collaborate with various departments and factories as needed to address and resolve part-related issues.
