Job summary

Silver State Personnel, Inc. is seeking Quality Inspectors in Reno, NV for temp-to-hire opportunities. Shifts include day and night, 5:30am–5:30pm or 5:30pm–5:30am, with mandatory overtime when required.

Candidates will inspect, measure, rework, and reject items to uphold quality standards while maintaining accurate records and a safe workplace. Entry-level inspectors will perform basic inspections with hand tools, keep daily numeric logs, and follow supervisor instructions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Must commit to rotating 12-hour shifts.
• Must wear safety gear including steel-toe shoes and safety glasses.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, measure, rework, and reject materials to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records from the day including numeric results.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Overtime may be required for coverage.

Quality Inspector Job Responsibilities

• Inspect, measure, rework, and reject (when necessary) materials to maintain quality standards.


• Must maintain an independent work ethic by following written or verbal instructions from supervisors.

Quality Inspector Job Duties

• Perform entry level inspections and light reworks with hand tools when necessary.


• Maintain accurate records from the day including, but not limited to, numeric results.


• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.


• Mandatory overtime when required.

Quality Inspector Skills And Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.


• Must be able to commit to working a rotating shift, 12 hour shift


• Must wear required safety gear, including but not limited to steel toe shoes and safety glasses.
