Job summary

American International Tooling is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our QA team in Minden, NV. You will inspect incoming and outgoing products with precision tools and verify conformance to blueprints and work orders.

Responsibilities include first article, in-process and final inspections, reporting results, and communicating findings to production for continuous improvement. Requires 1–5+ years QA and a HS diploma, with calibration knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–5+ years of quality assurance and/or control experience.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodology.

Job Title: QC Inspector FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Department: Quality Assurance Reports To: QA/Distribution Mgr.

Salary Range: $19.00-$30.00 DOE Last Review Date: August 10, 2026

American International Tooling is actively hiring for a Quality Assurance/Control Inspector. We have experienced unprecedented growth and require qualified applicants. We are located in Minden, NV. This is a full-time, day-shift position generally working Monday-Friday from 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.

General Summary

A Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for checking the incoming and outgoing products for the company by conducting tests using a variety of precision measuring instruments or against fixed samples. Checks dimensions and finishes against blueprint or work order specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Be proficient in the operation of various micrometers, height gauges, calipers, Keyence measuring equipment, and CMM.
  • Test manufactured products to assure conformance with requirements and specifications.
  • Test new parts to evaluate adaptation to company’s products.
  • Perform quality tests on products and prepare specification test reports.
  • Ensure a first article, in-process and final inspection is performed on each production run.
  • Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database.
  • Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection results with the production team.
  • Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.
  • Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discarding any that does not meet requirements.
  • Updating job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training.
  • Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs.

Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1-5+ years of experience in quality assurance and/or control.
  • Training in general industry safety.
  • Working in a manufacturing environment.
