Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with establishing quality standards for products within ISO 9001 Guidelines.
• Read specifications to ensure operations meet production standards.
• Prepare samples for testing.
• Recommend any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes.
• Inspect and test the materials and products produced.
• Use equipment such as microscopes, micrometers, etc. to measure products.
• Remove and reject products that do not meet production standards and recommend strategies to improve product quality.
• Accept or reject finished products and discuss inspection results with the production team.
• Perform inspections at random to assess product quality.
• Perform other duties, within reason as requested by Management.

ImageTek/Montrose, a rapidly expanding contract manufacturer in Putnam, CT, is looking to add a Quality Inspector to our growing team. The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting and testing products and overseeing operations for a company to ensure they meet production standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with establishing quality standards for products the company produces within in ISO 9001 Guidelines
• Read specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards
• Prepare samples for testing
• Recommend any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes
• Inspect and test the materials and products produced
• Use equipment such as microscopes, micrometers, etc. to measure products
