An established industry player is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure product excellence in aerospace manufacturing. The Quality Inspector performs various receiving inspections, in-process inspections, verification of completed paperwork, identification of non-conformance issues, final product inspection, and dimensional checks of production detail parts and assemblies. This includes using hand tools such as calipers, scales, micrometers, and height gauges, as well as operating CMMs. Basic knowledge of AS9102 and First Article Inspection skills is required. Inspectors should be proficient in blueprint reading and specification interpretation, applying these skills to perform first article inspections using in-house programs such as DISCUS and Net Inspect. The Inspector should be able to identify drawing revision changes and purchase order requirements. A basic understanding of AS9100 guidelines, including their maintenance and implementation, is also necessary.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stoop, crouch, reach, walk, lift, grasp, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions. Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs. Must have close visual acuity as per procedures. May be exposed to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, and dust.
