People Source OKC is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector for a temp-to-hire role in Oklahoma City. The ideal candidate will perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools, read engineering drawings, and document results accurately while maintaining quality standards.

Experience in aerospace or NDE/NDT is encouraged. Must be detail-oriented with strong math skills and the ability to follow procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

Position Overview

People Source OKC is hiring an experienced Quality Inspector for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Oklahoma City. We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate with experience performing inspections, taking precise measurements, and interpreting engineering drawings in a machine shop or manufacturing environment. Candidates with aircraft or aerospace quality inspection experience are encouraged to apply, particularly those with NDE/NDT experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using precision measuring instruments and understand the importance of maintaining quality standards and accurate inspection documentation.

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect machined parts, components, and materials for quality and conformance
• Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other basic metrology tools
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and tolerances
• Verify finished components meet dimensional and quality requirements
• Document inspection results accurately
• Identify and document nonconforming parts or materials
• Work with production and machine shop personnel to address quality concerns
• Follow established operating procedures, inspection procedures, and quality requirements
• Assist with hardness testing when required
• Perform or assist with NDE/NDT inspections when qualified
• Maintain inspection equipment and ensure proper handling of measuring tools
• Follow company safety and quality procedures

Requirements

• Previous quality inspection, QC, machining, manufacturing, aerospace, or related experience preferred
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Comfortable working in a machine shop or manufacturing environment
• Good basic mathematical skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to understand measurements, dimensions, and tolerances
• Ability to follow operating procedures, manuals, and inspection requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Aircraft or aerospace QC inspection experience
• NDE/NDT experience
• Magnetic Particle Testing experience
• Liquid Penetrant Testing experience
• Experience using hardness testing equipment
• Familiarity with API 6A standards
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards
• Previous inspection experience involving machined components
