Job summary

Times Microwave Systems in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Quality Inspector I to inspect cables against customer specs and internal quality standards. You will perform visual and measurement tests on products, and review specifications to ensure finished cables meet requirements.

This role reports to the Quality Engineer, is a full-time day shift, non-exempt, with competitive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED required or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year cable assembly experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to use gauges, calipers, rulers.
• Basic math skills, including ability to do calculations and convert fractions.
• Ability to use microscope.
• Ability to read, write/ speak English.
• Demonstrates keen attention to quality and details.

Responsibilities

• Conducts visual and measurement tests of products
• Performs inspection of incoming, in-process and outgoing products
• Performs final inspection of completed cables
• Reviews product specifications to ensure finished cables are compliant to standard
• Reports quality problems or findings to Quality Manager
• Submit Corrective Actions to correct product/process failures
• Performs other tasks as required by Supervisor
