Quality Inspector

Department: Quality/Inspection

Position Summary: Candidates are required to visually inspect parts for any imperfections and reject unacceptable material and or product according to specifications. Candidates are also required to move inspected parts to designated area when required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Lifting to 25 lbs. and moving 40 lbs. pans with hand trucks.
  2. High School graduate or equivalent.
  3. Basic math and reading skills.

Reporting Relationships: Will report to a lead person or department supervisor.

Working Conditions: Sitting most of the time. Repetitive hand motions. Machine shop environment.

Success Factors: The candidate should have a good attitude and be willing to learn. Good communications skills a plus. Candidates should understand the importance of material flow - constant and steady.

Position type: Requires full work time only. 8 hours a shift - Monday to Friday - overtime expected depending on production needs. Regular attendance is an essential job function.
