Job summary

Core Health & Fitness is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform IQC, IPQC, and FQC activities on fitness equipment and components. You will follow inspection instructions, use gauges like calipers and micrometers, and help ensure our products meet drawings and customer requirements.

The role requires strong problem solving, basic electrical measurement experience, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. This is a full-time position with overtime as needed in our Texas/Lancaster facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; inspector training a plus.
• Experience with IQC/IPQC/FQC and inspection techniques per SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of materials and final inspection of products.
• Inspect OEM samples by assembling, testing, and repackaging per QC plans.
• Follow inspection instructions; use measurement tools and documentation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing/engineering to address nonconformances and corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot electromechanical issues and support root-cause analysis.
• Lift up to 40 lbs and work with minimal supervision when needed.

Daily routine involves following of inspection work instructions and routine use of good judgment and decision-making skills. The Quality Inspector will be required to work without guidance for up to 8 hours a day.Essential Functions / Major ResponsibilitiesResponsible for assuring FQC (Final Quality Control) of Core Health & Fitness products using inspection techniques, sampling plans, and Inspection Equipment.Review and perform Receiving Inspection (Raw Materials) and Final Inspection.Perform sample inspections on OEM (Original equipment manufacturer) by assembling, testing, and repackaging samples as defined on quality control plans.
