We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team! This full-time position inspects products at various stages of production to ensure quality and reliability. Located in Lancaster, PA, hours are Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, with occasional overtime.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets engineering drawings, blueprints, schematic diagrams, bills of material, and other documentation for inspections.
• Inspects boilers, sub-assemblies, kitted cartons, machine castings, and other components.
• Quarantines nonconforming products and writes nonconformance reports. Processes NC materials per manager’s requests.
• Assists with testing of components or completed boilers.
• Assists with programming controls.
• Uses measuring equipment such as calipers, bore gauges, and thread gauges.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years of quality inspection experience preferred.
• ASME or boiler experience a plus.

• Computer Skills: knowledge of database, manufacturing, and Microsoft Office software.

Physical Demands

Requires standing, walking, handling, talking, occasional sitting, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities include close and distance vision, and color differentiation.

Work Environment

Exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, high places, chemicals, weather, electrical shocks, and noise.
